What is expected of people on Cordice.
Cordice is a place for people to talk. These are the few rules that make that possible.
Treat people as people
Harassment, threats, and campaigns against someone are not welcome here. Neither is impersonating another person to deceive.
Disagreement is fine. Argument is fine. Making someone’s day worse for sport is not.
Some things are not a grey area
Material that sexualises children is reported to the authorities and the account is closed. There is no warning and no appeal.
The same finality applies to credible threats of violence and to using Cordice to organise serious harm to others.
Do not wreck the place
No malware, no phishing, no bulk unsolicited messages, no attacks on the service, no attempts to reach data that is not yours.
If you find a security flaw, tell us at [email protected] rather than using it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a flaw in good faith and gives us a chance to fix it.
Servers run themselves
Each server has its own owner, its own moderators, and its own rules on top of these. Those rules are theirs to set and enforce. We step in only when something breaks the rules above or the law.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on what happened: content removed, a warning, a temporary suspension, or a closed account. We aim to explain what happened and to listen if you think we got it wrong — except in the cases above, where we do not.

Report problems to [email protected]. Tell us what happened and where; the more precise you are, the faster it can be dealt with.
Reports are read by people, not by an automated filter.
